Abstract
Arc machining (AM) is one of the unconventional machining processes which is under exploration stage. In the present research AM process efficiency has been tried to improve by giving longitudinal vibration to the tool electrode. Process has been performed in metal matrix composite by using appropriate design of experiments. Artificial intelligence tools have been applied for the modelling and optimization of the process.
