Titanium dioxide nanoparticles (TiO2NPs) are supposed to be the most widely engineered nanoparticles (NPs) that are used in the world. The study evaluated the toxicity of TiO2NPs (12 – 64 nm) in male mice by intraperitoneal injection at five doses of either control (0), 2.5, 5.0, 10.0, and 20.0 mg/kg of body weight for 28 d.
